Banana Bread


3 overripe Bananas

125g butter melted

125ml milk

3 large eggs

1 Jar FFT Banana Bread Mix


Preheat oven to 180C

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and beat for approx. 1min. Add more milk if you think you need to ( this will depend on the size of your bananas used)


Pour mixture into a lined loaf tin, top with nuts or chocolate if you like.


Bake in oven for approx. 30- 40 minutes or until skewer comes out clean- if in doubt take your loaf out earlier rather than later, Banana flour is slightly more dense than wheat flour so you don't want to over cook.

Remove from oven, cool, slice and enjoy with butter or cream cheese.

Coconut Dahl


1 jar FFT Dahl Mix

1 tin diced tomatoes

1 large tin coconut cream

3 cups vege stock


To make your Coconut Dahl heat a  splash of oil in a large pan. Fry off the dry mix for a couple of mins ( please note the onion and garlic powder make have become solid but this wont effect the quality of your meal).

Once fragrant add  vege stock coconut cream and chopped tomatoes. Cook for approx 30-40mins or until lentils are cooked and liquid has evaporated- add more stock if you need to.

Season with salt and pepper. 

Serve on its own or over rice. We like to garnish our Dahl with toasted coconut and fresh raita. Serves 5-6
